I love making smoothies and having a play with different combinations and discovering how each ingredient can change the whole dynamic of the taste, texture, and elements to what you’re ingesting. It’s the beauty of cooking and making smoothies! Keep reading below on three stellar recipe creations by yours truly.
1. ACAI NICE CREAM GALAXY
This blackberry nice cream açai bowl is out of this world. I had a play around with smoothie recipes this morning and this one turned out AMAZING. If you love Acai and you love ice cream, you get the best of both worlds with this creamy smoothie bowl recipe. Packed with berry-licious antioxidants, you’re in for a serious treat.
What You’ll Need:
-handful of blackberries (can be a mix of raspberries and blackberries)
-1 scoop of matcha coconut nice cream (I used a dairy free brand CocoTribe cause I can’t have too much lactose in my diet!)
-a dash of coco milk
-1/2 mango
-Optional: toppings of choice such as additional berries or fruit, and granola is always a good time
How It’s Made:
Wash your berries, put them in a blender. Add 1 scoop of match coconut nice cream, a dash of coconut milk just to blend everything smoothly, and 1/2 a mango! If you wanted your bowl to have an extra dose of matcha powers in it, easily pop in 1 tsp of matcha powder. Too easy!!
2. YING YANG MORNING WALNUT PAPAYA BOWL
Tastes like dessert but even better! My current favorite recipe inspired by my travels in Thailand, it’s bringing back all those tropical vibes. This is probably the easiest recipe to date because all you have to do is assemble everything together. It’s pretty straight forward…
What You’ll Need:
– 1/2 Red Papaya
– Plain Coconut Yoghurt (I’m using Cocobella)
– Coconut Chocolate Moose (I’m using Natuala)
– Walnuts or choice of nuts
(Note: I prefer to use something with a good crunch in this recipe!!)
– Optional: Berries or fruit toppings, Granola, and Chia Seeds for some extra love
How it’s Made:
1. Scoop out all the little papaya seeds
2. Fill half the papaya, one side with plain yogurt, the other with the chocolate moose
3. Top it all your choices of nuts, additional fruits, & love
3. DATE ME HEAVEN SMOOTHIE
Easy Peasy recipe, rest easy, full of energy with this yummy smoothie! Would 10/10 date this smoothie. Sticking with the basics with this recipe yet never had this combo of a smoothie before, only four ingredients!! I absolutely love this one, it’s a unique simple one but will seriously blow you taste buds minds when you have a sip of this!!
What You’ll Need:
– 1/2 dragon fruit
– 1 nana (If you prefer your smoothie to be chilled with a thicker consistency, I would use a frozen nana!)
– 2-3 dates
– 1 cup Coco Milk
How It’s Made:
Cut your dragon fruit in half and scoop it’s meat into the blender. Cut your three dates in half and throw them in as well, and cut that nana in half and throw that in too. Top off with your cup of coco milk and blend everything together
