Learn how to make this Powerhouse smoothie filled with antioxidants! Guarantee to taste delicious as a morning breaky or afternoon snack to fuel you for your day 🙂
Some cool info on Kakadu Plum: It is considered a gift from the Dreamtime, one of the most well-known native superfoods in Australia brought to attention in the 1980s. With medical properties and passed down by the indigenous people of Australia for thousands of years, it is now a superfood that is commonly used in this generation for its amazing benefits. Kakadu PLum contains a valuable source of vitamin E, iron, folate, zinc, magnesium, calcium, lutein, and other powerful antioxidants such as carrying 100 times more vitamin C than oranges!! How crazy and awesome?!?!
> 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
> 1 frozen Certified Organic banana
> 1 mango
> 1/2 kiwi
note: this is optional, put whatever you want to eat with your smoothie!
> local farmers market paw paw slices (papaya)
> sprinkle of cacao nibs
> 1/2 teaspoon Kakadu Plum Powder
> 1/4 paw paw (papaya)
> 1/2 frozen certified organic banana
> a splash of organic light milk (use milk of choice)
1) Slice your frozen banana into chunks and throw that into the blender with the Spirulina powder, mango, and kiwi. Blend together until smooth and pour it into your mason jar.
2) Top your green smoothie with almonds, blueberries, paw paw slices, and cacao nibs
3) Wash out your blender and slice your second banana with chunks (half which you will use in your Kakadu Plum smoothie and the other half will be used for the topping). Combine the Kakadu Plam Powder, 1/4 of fresh paw paw, and a splash of Organic light milk.
4) Pour the Kakadu Plum smoothie into your mason jar. Now top off your finished powerhouse smoothie with your fav toppings. I used the rest of the frozen banana and spread on some chunky local peanut butter, cacao powder, and chia seeds!
Enjoy this easy to make, yet so fancy lookin’. A smoothie that contains incredible health benefits with the combination of some amazing herbs from our planet! Cheers xx
