Switching to natural beauty is on going for me and online retailers such as Credo Beauty make it so much easier to do the transition and to search for new products.
I’ve put together a review on some products that I’ve been DYING to try out that I picked personally from Credo’s website to review so I’m really excited to be sharing with you guys my experiences on each one!!
For the past year, I’ve been on the hunt for a good body sunscreen. What I’ve been wearing prior to finding Juice Beauty Sport is CyberDERM’s Sunwhips which is my all time favourite facial sunscreen formulated with Zinc Oxide making it safe from harmful chemicals and coral reef friendly. CyberDERM only carry’s a 50ml bottle sizes perfect for facial sunscreen but I was in need of a body sunscreen! I did a bit of back research on Juice Sport and it rated well on EWG (great source to check out), formulated with Zinc Oxide as well, and heard amazing things about this product from other beauty websites.
The consistency of the formula is a bit thicker to CyberDERM’s Sun Whip which I would avoid to use on my face but works wonders as a body sunscreen. It comes off looking like a BB cream but once spread onto your skin it vanishes into a clear/lightly tinted coating – nothing noticeably white. I’ve been using this sunscreen for my trip in LA and been loving this one in combination with my CyberDERM Sun Whip for my face.
2) Plume Eyelash and Brow Enhancing Serum
One of my biggest insecurities are MY EYEBROWS!!! It’s always been something that I struggled with as a teen too and once I got them shaped, I realized it just totally changed the structure of my face. Ok, I know I’m making it sound like I look like Gollum without makeup or something LOL but I mean tbh putting exaggeration to the side I can do without makeup but I just prefer the look of having fuller brows!!
I was SUPERRRRR excited to try out Plume’s Eyelash and Brow Serum because I’ve heard so much good things about it and was so curious to see if it would transform my sparse brows to potentially fuller ones. How I go about to use this product is every night before bed time I would apply a full coat over my brows (concentrating on the end hairs) and using the rest of the product that’s on the applicator brush on the top and bottom of my eyelashes. Majority of the product went to the brows because I’m satisfied with the length of the eyelashes but just wanted to give it some love too 🙂
I’ve used Plume for about a week straight, then went on a trip to LA which I had stopped using the product, then used it for another week which I still have product left.
Here are the results after 2 weeks of using Plume:
P.S apologies on terrible before & after pics and how greasy I look. I just happened to take them at all the wrong times haha! But I can still see that the ends of my brows look longer and even more so in real life oppose to photos. I’m honestly really impressed with the outcome. It’s really hard for me to grow brow hair so it’s amazing to see that it definitely made my brows thicker and fuller. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a non toxic product to use to enhance your brows and lashes.
I’m a huge softie for any product with the word coconut involved in the product/label and I’m all in. I’ve had my eye on Lani’s tropical hair treatment for quite some time now, probably near when they first launched! I saw it everywhere on Instagram with beachy boho babes and their lush hair to promote the hair repair. And so I’m excited to put this product to the test to see if it matches up to the expectations portrayed in social media – does it look better then it actually works?
The two hair products I use graciously to maintain the health of my hair is a macadamia oil I use post shower and a coconut oil hair treatment on a weekly basis. I have tried the Mane Haircare which you might of seen in one of my older posts but I found that in the long run the product ended up clumping quite a bit and the application process is messier compared to the functional bottle that Lani has. So that part I can definitely say I like better. I do think that this product is a good one to use as a weekly treatment for any sorts of hair types and for scalp treatment as well because it includes both coconut oil and macadamia oil (both I love using in one product)! I’ve dyed my hair multiple times from the past 5 years and people keep telling me my hair looks so healthy and I give credit to hair treatments and oils like these.
How gorgeous is this lipstick colour?? Because of my picky-ness with lipstick formulas, it’s rare for me to find brands that I like to wear on a daily basis. So far the ones I consistently like wearing are Lime Crime but I’m trying to find a good non toxic brand to swap it with and Studio 78 Paris just might be the one. It has a matte finish after application giving you a feeling of not actually wearing lipstick even though you are! Those are the best ones!!!! I toke this lipstick with me on my trip to LA, great travel essential too. See how I wear this colour below (in shade Ruby Wedding 05) 🙂
