Good4You Plant Makeup = Good Makeup + Happy Planet + Beautiful You.
This beauty brand creates plant based makeup and skincare using locally grown ingredients such as flowers and herbs all the while helping out to better the environment. I can honestly say they have the nicest product photos, packaging, and message as a company (I can’t even right now guys. I can’t. I’m obsessed.) Real talk though, Good4You is such a unique company and it’s something that I haven’t seen in a long time.
I was scrolling through Instagram and just happened to fall upon their beautiful lit IG feed and I knew I had to try out some of their products. Jess is the mastermind behind all this goodness where she creates these products and packages them as well using all eco friendly material. You can find out more of her back story on the Good4Plant website which I’ll attach as well!
So I got to try out a couple products which I’m insanely obsessed with, literally everything including their company sticker ♡ In this post I’ll be covering the Sunset Eye Shadow Powder, the Amazon Lip Plump + Stain, the Foundation Powder No.1 + Natural Bronzer, and the Plant Shadow Mascara. The rest of the products I will be covering in another post showing you another look.
Sunset Eye Shadow Powder
Orange eye shadow kinda sounds wild and scary I know BUT believe me, give it a chance and you’ll love this color for the summer. Good4You Plant Makeup is created from plants dyes which creates a naturally lighter pigmentation in their colours. This sunset eye shadow powder is more of a lighter shade of orange that has a real nice natural look when you apply it on. You can definitely build up on this colour if you wanted a bolder look.
Color: Gives a deep sapphire orange shade to the fire of your eye. Excellent if you are looking for a orange shadow with a tint of bright red / creamy / hot orange to it.
Directions: Applies soft + smooth, best with a little eye makeup wand. I intentionally left color bits unmixed so a phoenix style multi color smear could magically appear! If unwanted, it easily blends in with the use of the fingers or a makeup wand.
Amazon Lip Plump + Stain
The natural and healthy way to get those Kylie Jenner lips! What sold me on this exotic lip plumper is the fact it’s made with annatto berries from the Amazon. Made with added cayenne pepper that tingles your lips to give you that natural plumping effect. I absolutely love this natural orange stain it gives to my lips. I first go in with a lip liner to outline my lips I then go over with this Amazon Lip Stain. It gives this extremely pretty subtle look, kinda like the “I’m def not trying, I woke up like this” look which is exactly what I’m going for. Again, if your looking for a bolder look you can definitely build up to a desired bright orange if you wanted!
I have a really round head shape (as you can see) so Bronzer is a must in my makeup routine. Currently the only Bronzer I’ve ever stuck to is the Two Faced Chocolate Matte Bronzer and have hit pan with that one. This Plant Based Bronzer makes for a good dupe for the Two Faced Bronzer (and half the price) which is always a good thing 😉 As seen in the photo’s I contoured my face with this Bronzer and I also used it to draw on little freckles on my face! Apparently drawing freckles on your face is a thing on social media now a days so thought I would try it out and I love the look. Wish I had natural freckles, their beautiful!

Plant Shadow Mascara
I like my brows dark like my morning coffee. I love using this Plant Shadow Mascara as a eye brow paint for photography purposes to really fill in my brows. If you saw my brows without any makeup, you literally wouldn’t see anything because my brows are SO light ugh! It’s frustrating to have sparse brows but I love that I get to fill them in differently whenever I want depending on my mood.
How I personally used the Plant Shadow:
1) Used Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Brow Wax Primer to tame my eye brow hairs
2) Outlined my desired eye brow shape using Anastasia Dip Brow
2) Went in with the Plant Shadow Mascara to darken my eye brow hairs
3) Finished the final touches with Anastasia eye brow powder
That about it rounds up my review for my first post on Good4You Plant Makeup. My second post will talk about the Sea Foam Eye Shadow Powder and the Mermaid Tribal Lip Paint. I can’t even begin to say how much I love this company!! When I find products that are incredibly unique from the main stream products, I can probably rave about it forever. If your looking to browse their website, all links are included in the post for you to check out ♡
